I remember hiring my first 2 team members and thinking I had made it, until one day, I had an appointment with my accountant and they slapped a Super and BAS bill at me that I had no idea even existed. I had no idea I had to pay it and I had no money left over either.
What I realised was, I was an employee in my business with extra responsibilities. I actually needed to understand business. I didn’t need another treatment, machine or find out more about the skin. That is all pointless if there is no business left to run! Money was the key to whether my business survived and I had to understand it!

Once I shifted from employee to Business Owner and began understanding business, wild things happened. I purchased a commercial building, opened another location, hired more team, trained in Germany, met Dr. Hans (the founder of Dermaviduals) and toured their HQ, won shitloads of awards, became the leading skin clinic in my area, scaled to $100k months and I even made $18,000 in one day by myself.

Meet ASH SMITH
My journey into the beauty industry wasn’t traditional. I left high school to become an electrician, but somehow found my way into beauty therapy. Two years later, I completed my apprenticeship, opened my own business, and trained in Dermal Therapies.
Over the next eight years, I went from renting a room in a hair salon to scaling my clinic into two locations, leading a team of 12, generating six-figure months, and winning multiple industry awards. I trained in Europe, became a recognised industry leader, and launched multiple businesses across different industries.
Then, in 2023, I made a bold decision....I walked away from it all. My purpose had evolved. Instead of helping clients feel confident in their skin, I now help salon and clinic owners build businesses that support their dream life.
